My Latest Purchase 3.0

Until the last couple years, the typical dress shirt shelf was stacked with a cut of cloth that could double as a wind sail from the Golden Age of Pirates (seemingly came with a parachute built in). The fit was horrendous! It had gotten to where it was better to save your money and just buy a paper sack. Fortunately, designers wised up
Now designers are creating great fitting shirts so you don’t have to worry about looking like you have an inner tube around your waist. I’d tried a bunch of different shirts, and labels, but still hadn’t found the perfect fit.
That is until now - enter Simon Spurr, the exquisitely tailored designer from across the pond. I saw this shirt and had to try it on. The fit is perfect. I mean perfect. It’s a great slim fit, meaning it has nice high arm holes- no worrying about flying squirrel wings under your arms. It’s made from 120-ply cotton and has a slightly shrunken collar. This shirt is what you want, but you don’t know it.
Allow me to clear something up while I’m on collars. Guys, choose a dress shirt whose collar is relatively near the size of the lapel on your jacket. For instance, don’t wear a slim lapel jacket with a shirt that has a three inch collar (trust me, that looks ridiculous).
So straight to the point - If you’re sick of ill-fitting dress shirts and want a shirt that will complement your body, style and fashion, your search is over.
