The Pocket Square
Each Wednesday I’ll cover an essential item of a man’s wardrobe. Today is the pocket square. Something about a pocket square says “I took the extra time to get the details right.” If there is one flaw with guys and the way we dress it’s that we don’t pay enough attention to the details. Every guy can put on trousers and a jacket, that takes no thought. It’s the details that take effort and they’re really the only things that people notice. There aren’t really rules when it comes to pocket squares. My advice: You can’t go wrong with a nice white one. It works with everything. But, if you’d like to paint outside the lines a little then reach for a plaid one, like the one pictured below:
Pair it with a navy suit or tweed blazer and you’re ready for fall. Cheers!
